ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Jkfl Redddit Meta Posts
Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No reddit meta posts
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

Hungary received 170k euros from EU fund to build a tree top walk. Unfortunately the forest was cut down before the walkway was completed.

Traveling to a snowy place so I put on boots that I bought last year & had worn once. Felt a weird sensation in the Uber to the airport. Look down, my heel fell off. By the time I made it to my gate, both soles had disintegrated. Emailed the company, they refused to refund me without a receipt.

Off Leash
My neighbors constantly allowing their dogs to run loose in the neighborhood. They breed Pits and can’t contain them. They run into the streets, harass people and other pets. To be fair, I’m concerned for the dogs getting hurt as much as for my children’s and pets safety.

This is why I hate letting people borrow stuff 😑
My mom borrowed my (nearly new) heels months ago and forgot them in her car… she found them like this today 🤮

My wife never finishes water bottles. Just always grabs a new one! Hours ago I just cleaned up a ton of her left over ones.

People who just leave their stuff on a workout machine and disappear for 15min! I only needed 10min I could have been done already.

Trying not to order out so I got some quick frozen foods for my pregnancy cravings. Wasn’t expecting much but the minimum would’ve been nice, like say the mac and cheese.

Eggo Waffles now look and taste like plain white flour. So many companies have changed to cheaper ingredients but jacked up prices at the same time.

Some people you find on Facebook. 🤦♀️ More details below.
The water quality where Iive is terrible as it is, but safe enough to drink. Woke up today, had low water pressure but thought it was just our plumbing. Drank water to take my morning vitamins and filled our pet's water dish. Found out after this that we had been issued a boil advisory due to unsafe water caused by a water main break when a co-worker asked me if I heard of the advisory and I confirmed it online. Our city is SCREAMING for better communication, such as a mass emergency calling/texting system, so we know instantly that the water isn't safe. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. You now have this lovely person defending the city, thinking everyone should just know instantly every day to check if our city has a boil advisory before they go about their day. Oh, and since the warning was communicated online only, this person must think everyone in the city should be glued to Facebook or the city's website to figure out for themselves if there's a problem. 🤡🙄
